Next week is instrument day! I can't wait to see you all there and experience some exciting new instruments together! If you have an
instrument you and your child can bring to showcase, that will be awesome. If not, find a video of an instrument you love, and we'll
watch it together.
Please feel free to invite a friend to join us for free for this special class!

optional home fun activity
***remember, these activities are optional but can be a great bonding experience to do with your child during the week.
Lesson 14: Do the Instrument Day activity on page 18 in your workbook
more than play
Infants hearing is fully developed at birth and preschoolers have the ability to separate and distinguish sounds from
multiple sources. At this age, the portion of the brain dedicated to sound is ripe for input, so listening to quality music
and individual instruments exposes the child to sounds, pitches, and timbres that build a library of musical sound and develop
music listening skills.
