Gold Stars Lesson 15

Gold Stars Lesson #15

I’ve enjoyed spending time with you and your children this semester. Thank you for the many ways you contributed to our class throughout the past weeks.

Instrument Day was a great way to end Gold Stars and I hope to see you all in Brown Teddy Bears in the fall! As a reminder, my registration deadline is May 30.
Enrollment instructions can be found HERE.

When you brought your child to Sound Beginnings, you introduced them to something life-changing! Studying music enhances the way the brain functions. Making music requires children to tap into multiple skill sets, often simultaneously. This may explain while those who study music use both the left and the right sides of their frontal cortex more heavily than the average person. Studies have also shown that musicians more effectively use a creative technique called divergent thinking. And you thought we were just having fun!

Optional home fun activity: No activity this week. If you missed any activity during the semester, you may want to complete it now.

(Remember, these activities are optional but can be a great bonding experience to do with your child during the week.)
